   @stereograph Someone from a Facebook group dedicated to ultra low ISO films. The idea is to dilute the developer to lower the contrast, but this strategy is of limited effectiveness with microfilms like this one (Agfa-Gevaert Copex HDP, similar to Spur Orthopan UR).

   @stereograph It's what I was about to do then but then I read the recipe on digitaltruth.com and it recommends 1+200 for full tonal range, but with a short time and normal agitation. I followed that. I shouldn't.

   @klawe Indeed, Spur Nanotech and Adox Adotech IV are the recommended developers but they're impossible to find here and expensive to import.

   @flamingoid i do all my b/w in 1+100 rodinal for 1h and this is quite balancing i think.But I never deved the adox cms 20 myself.

   @stereograph I use Rodinal a lot too. I love the stuff and while I think 1+100 works the best with some films and some situations (like with Fomapan 200 for instance), I prefer 1+25 or 1+50 with normal agitation in some other cases, to add some punch to the level of contrast.
   @klawe So basically you have the opposite issue. Fuji stuff here is plentyful and rather cheap. Ilford is a bit cheaper but German films/chemicals and Kodak stuff are very pricey.
