   @istionojr canoscan 9000F and i´m scanning with photoshop elements. silverfast is said to be the best software concerning colours and various different other stuff - at least that´s what the guy at my lab says who is a crazy expert - but i don´t like the handling of silverfast so i don´t use it.

   does the photoshop elements integrated with ScanGear (the default scan driver)?
   yap I agree with silverfast is the best analogue imaging software. it has NegaFix feature that facilitate us easily to make a color correction almost in every kind and type of film. and then I agree with you, silverfast is too complicate to use, maybe its too sophisticate to use for a basic usage.
