Bought a Hoya R72 filter which seems to do the trick. First largely successful attempt with Rollei IR. Used ISO 8 as a starting point which metered at about 1/15 sec - basic exposure was as fast as I could click using a cable release on bulb.

Now you're cooking with gas! What a difference that filter seems to have made. What ISO did you use at a benchmark?

I have never tried IR films so far. Not available here in the market. It seems a real magic...<:)
