   Is this up the road from Rhayader? Years ago I ran the Reservoir Roundabout in early early January a few times with some friends.- stunning area and some tough running and hard weather at that time of year (tough enough and hard enough to see special forces out there at least once, or so they were suggested by some ex-forces chaps I was with). I seem to remember it was organised by a character called Nev. I absolutely loved it but haven't been back for years though organised a walk there with some less committed friends a few years later and all they could do was complain about the tufty grass! What a stunning part the world, nicely captured.

   @sandersoftheriver Yes, that's exactly where it is. You're right about the forces too - those fellows from Hereford train around here from time to time I'm told. We intended to have a bit of a gentle stroll, but ended up doing 14 miles.

   14 miles in that area is both wonderful and tiring. I seriously wondered about trying to buy a small place around there but realised I probably wouldn't do it justice (and couldn't afford it!). Thanks for the fine images, really brought it all back to me.
