Don't know why if I place negative in fitted tray it scans well, but free in scanner major color shifts.

Trying new things, running 35mm film through toy Holga 120 SF. Next thing to try: Caffenol development.

    can your scanner scan the sprockets usually?
    most scanners must be mocked to scan them correct.

    @stereograph It can scan the sprockets, but it doesn't result in a correct color as seen above, however when I use the holder that came with the scanner(Canon 9000F MarkII) you generally can't see any of the sprockets except by misalignment. When in the holder the colors are generally the correct color.

    i use silverfast on my 9000 and it works there too.

    @neufotomacher oh, i use the 120 mask with my 35er all the time.
