I finally got the Lubitel 166+! Immediately after, I tried shooting with my Lubitel on PORTRA 400 that has expired in 2019. These images are from the result of the first roll, and I am very happy with them!!!
From April 1st my friend Helen has been running Harvest café in Neukölln. I honestly couldn’t be happier for her for such great achievement. She worked hard, she trusted her gut feeling and she never stop believing in her dream and eventually became, at a very young age, a badass business woman. I really look up to you my dear! ❤️ Helen invited me to document on film a standard weekday morning at the café. I really enjoyed my time there, the chilled vibe and all that amazing food! As great as the Lubitel 166+ is, there is one major disadvantage: the minimum focusing distance. While 80cm is close enough at most occasions, sometimes I would like to get closer. The easy solution to this is using close up filters, but most people who use use them end up guessing the correct focusing distance. From now on, you no longer have to guesstimate, but you can actually focus your image using your viewing lens! Read on and find out how.
In the background a high fence limited my position. At least i had to use a wide angle lens to avoid a pic with this fence. I tried several shots within two or three months at different light, but this cloudy day made the best colours. × 1
Mostly macro, mostly floral, this film probably started in May and didn't end until sometime early July. That was partly because of a dreary, wet few months and my mega projects.
