Got a second hand Canon Eos for my birthday and this was just the test run. A bit like running before I can walk, but I was pretty pleased with the results regardless....and very grateful to the kind relative who gave me the camera, I did make out like a bandit.

As so many book chains have died slow and painful deaths due to a variety of reasons, this small indie, for lack of a better word, just keeps on going and going. And to be honest I have absolutely no idea why. I'm almost convinced that come the apocalypse it'll be the only thing left standing.

I hadn't shot anything with the 35/2 Summicron in a long time but we had a rare few minutes of sunshine the other day and so I dashed off a quick roll in Turners after my trip to the post office. I'd forgotten just how darned sharp this lens is...such amazing detail. Just goes to show that it's all in the glass, the camera is only the box that the film goes through.
Various shots from the area...Shelburne Falls on Mother's Day, the Autocars in Bernardston and scenes from Turners Falls and my front yard. I was way more impressed with the little Ricoh this time than I was in the earlier test. This one is a keeper and will be a nice pocket cam for the summer.
I shot this roll in 30 minutes while I was waiting for my first roll to be developed. Looks like it was old film or slightly defective judging from the moire pattern on some shots.
Disposible cameras rock....this trip to Moab included Arches National park, mountain biking on Slickrock Trail, Hole in the rock, and fishing at Frank's Lake....Good times...
