this is one of the first photos i uploaded that had so many likes and comments (especially considering it was never on the selected category). i love the tenderness the subjects on the photo portray and the high contrast the bright sunlight provided. pure love.
Second major attempt at what will be a long endeavor in underwater photography. Still don't have it down nearly like I want, still amazed at how HARD underwater photography is, and still haven't pulled out all the stops and props, but HAPPY with some of these results. blueskyandhardrock came and stayed with me, meeting for the first time and we had a BLAST. We went out on the town and shot some film and then I threw her in my pool. She rocks like no other! (I need an assistant for this sort of thing...)
Why so many pix of my cats? Not because I am kind of a pathetic grand'ma, just because they are perfect models: They are always available, they never complain, they don't pretend to be the model, they don't do stupid faces like chicken mouth, they don't complain that they are MUCH MORE pretty in real that the picture, they don't care about FB. Nevertheless if some people wants to play the model, please, LET ME KNOW!
And yes, I am a pix psychotic...
Random photos, shot with Kiev 2a camera and Jupiter 3 lens, on outdated 6/2010 Fuji Neopan 1600. Came out very grainy and contrasty. The film was kept in refrigerator at about 2C, so possible overdevelopement or developer too warm. Happened about 3 years ago with same lab. Anyway, look them over... possible accidental art??
Some of us own and still use cameras that use a glass focus screen, or perhaps need a screen to check the focus on a roll film camera, others even build complete cameras from scratch. More often than not we need new screens
