I recently moved to Berlin to assist two photographers during my last semesters of Uni. Working an additional job to finance the whole endeavor resulted in me shooting only one roll of film during the first 2-3 months in Germany's capital. I couldn't let that be my new standard and I shifted priorities. Now, I am working more and more on my own projects and the first smaller one I did was a go-see with Jasmin for her agency. I dusted off my trusty Pentax 6x7 and put my favorite bw stock through it. I am quite happy to say I did not forget how to take pictures apparently.
On August 4, 2023, in bitterly cold weather, we left El Chaltén to reach El Calafate, a little further south, still via the legendary Ruta 40. The peaks of Fitz Roy will remain visible for a good part of the journey. We also make a stop at the famous Parador La Léona, halfway between El Chaltén and El Calafate. A unique place, this guesthouse has existed since 1894 and welcomes all travelers who take route 40 north or south...

Une chance d’avoir pu se promener jusqu’au lac d’Arvouin puis jusqu’à la tête d’avalanche, sous un ciel lumineux. A few days on the shores of Lake Geneva and in the Vallée d'Abondance. A few sunny spells in the middle of rainy weather. We were lucky to be able to walk as far as Lac d'Arvouin and then as far as the avalanche head, under bright skies.

First roll with an old Olympus Pen EE, I got second hand. Ilford Delta ISO 100. The film got exposed to some light , because the tripod screw was loose but most of the frames turned out nice. Having 72 frames really gives some freedom. #olympus #pen #halfframe #35mm
