This place gave me so much: the island of Marajó. I cannot remember to have been as bold and straight forward to ask for portraits as I did on the shore of joanes, but it felt so right. I have been rewarded with an album full of stories and beauty in its own right....
On my recent stint in Petersburg I had the chance to conquer a roof with the fabulous @gotoarizona. It's one of the great things in the city of the white nights to climb on roofs, which is exhilirating and dangerous. Nastya has an access key to one building and so we climbed, slid and crouched our way up to this marvellous view. Quite a challenge - quite an adventure...

On my last years trip I met Bea, a Brazilian translator in Germany. She was back in Rio for the duartion of my 5 days trip so I hired her as a stringer and translator.
