Mulga Bill's Bicycle

The inspiration for this image comes from a famous Australian poem by Banjo Paterson. The poem, written in a ballad style, tells the tragic tale of Mulga Bill whose pride in riding skills leads him to retire his horse and purchase a bicycle. However, after a horrific crash the bicycle ends up in Dead Man’s Creek. Beaten by the two-wheeled outlaw, Mulga Bill returns to his forever faithful hoofed friend.
