Amhestburg Ontario,
I took a short drive and a long walk around the small historical town of Amhestburg, Ontario. Situated on the Detroit river, the town is a mix of cute historical kitsch and vast abandoned buildings, it's weird. In the background you can see Boblo Island, once a island amusement park in the 50's that Detroiters would take their kids to on the weekend, now it's a housing estate for the rich elite. Apparently the old rollercoasters are still there, and I plan to get in there to sometime soon, once I figure out a way to be allowed on the island...
