Tested my Lomo Minitar lens in the streets of Zurich, during a very nice and sunny day. I must say that I'm quiet impressed by this little lens: first of all, it's really small and discreet on my Konica Hexar RF, looks almost like a lens cap... then, the LC-A zone focusing system is perfect for street photography as you can instinctively get the right focus for candid street photos, and as you have the choice of aperture, you control the depth of field, and, last but not least, with the Hexar shooting up to 1/4000 of a second, it really allows to shoot in bright sunlight at any aperture! The results have a strong character (for those LC-A aficionados in love of vignetting and blurry edges) with a lot of contrast. It isn't the sharpest lens ever of course, but I think it's a perfect lens for catching the spirit of street photography! :)
