First attempt at Cyanotype. Canson cold press watercolor paper, Fotospeed sensitizer.
I love these experiments of yours! I'm curious about what you did because I want to try cyanotypes as well but yet I have no clue what kind of chemicals I need :D
Thanks!! I'm flattered, because I always admire your work! I was feeling a bit overwhelmed about what chemicals to buy as well, so I just bought a premixed cyanotype sensitizer by Fotospeed. I have been painting it on Canson cold pressed watercolor paper, then exposing it outside in my backyard using glass clip frames. There are a few Facebook groups that I belong to, and the members are very friendly and helpful, so I definitely recommend asking around for more help and information. One is the alternative photographic processes group, and another is the World Cyanotype Day group. The alternativephotography.com website also has a lot of good information to get started. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
