I enjoy capturing life both spontaneously and deliberately, often seeking to defamiliarize familiar scenes. Photography, to me, is a subjective reflection of our perception of signs and their meanings. A photograph serves as both a signifier and a sign, referencing the myriad of signs in the world around us, while also reshaping our perception of reality.
In an era dominated by generative AI and machine learning, film photography stands out as one of the last authentic mediums, embodying perseverance and patience. My experiments with various films, cameras, and subjects allow me to rediscover the world, transforming my vision and understanding as I step on this endless journey. This journey of learning to see the world through my lens and experimenting is deeply enjoyable.
