   Beautiful never heard of Cinque Terre why is it it called five lands is there a story? Cheers and thanx for the recent visits and likes too as always and happy holidays

   Cinque Terre it's on the western coast of Italy, close to La Spezia town. "The Five Lands" comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
