I once had an idea that I decided to put into practice, so I went to an old dolls' factory in Krakow's Podgórze district. When I told the women working there my request, they first started to discuss it in a low voice, looking at me as if I were an absolute madman (which I probably am), but then they agreed to fulfil my request and I left the factory with a box of... artificial eyes used to make dolls. At home I had a few old tins of paint, I mixed them up by photographing everything with a Canon f1 camera on a tripod with a Canon FL 135 f2.5 lens, this is how the collection of "looks" was created, which my good friend Dariusz Eckert used as illustrations for his book "Tenement"
