My first test roll with the my new Horizon Perfekt, unfortunately the camera didn't work well and a lot of the photos had banding where the lens barrel slowed during rotation. Still some of the photos are nice.
Got there on a Friday afternoon 3 weekends ago. Stayed in Japantown at this funky anime style hotel called Hotel Tomo. Rested, took a walk in Japantown then walked up to Filmore Street and ended the night with a dinner with my dear friends, Lady and Francois.

I was craving some square format, so I dusted off my Diana F+ and added the 55mm wide angle lens (which I've had for a long time but have never used). I shot some festive decorations around town.

My first try of double exposing a whole film and not only one frame - first round i took some shots of my beloved white sunglasses with a colorflash (color filters held in front of the flash of my canon 500N reflex camera), second i let others take pictures of me with those sunglasses on and then i shot some nice things that look like summer. ...some turned out to be a very funny combination:)
My second set of doubles with my friend in SoCal @grazie. Grazie shot the first layer (beach scenes and pumpkin patches) in California on her LCA. I shot the second layer in Calgary using a Sprocket Rocket and a homemade flower mask. Very happy with the results. Thanks again Grazie!!

I would miss the feeling of being imersed, of being gently touched in every part of the body, of travelling in 3 dimensions, the cooling feeling of a swimming pool dip or a warm shower on a winter morning, a feeling of balance! I would miss returning to the womb whenever i want!
