The Philippines is an archipelago of 7107 islands rich in indigenous Filipino cultures. Took these wide-angled shots of the Aliwan Festival which featured various colorful floats dressed to represent the different indigenous communities in the country - coming from the island groupings of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The cultural heritage is very much alive in these communities which have been celebrating their own unique festivals, taking pride in their history and cultural identity. All year round, there's a fiesta or festival to see around the Philippines which is also known as Fiesta Islands.
