the Pilgrim (India #34)

On the first day of Hampi i came across these very colourful pilgrims. The collected coins for taking pictures. One was called Shiva and the other Rahmi. I took there Portrait and explored the Virupaksha temple and the next day I went to the Vitthala temple which is infamous for its stone chariot, which has been carve out of one piece of stone. Many of these temples were for centuries forgotten and overgrown by plants. Only in the 19 century were the rediscovered by the British colonialists...
