Aphrodite im Stein

On a stroll through the Taminaschlucht I found these wonderful rocks, flat and with little texture. I carried a few back home and chiseled them into 4x5 size as good as I could to fit the plate holder. Then coated in liquid emulsion and shot in my Chamonix.

@srcardoso Thank you! Not only the stone but also the classic 'Venus de Medici' pose helps with the ancient look

@klawe Kein Problem!

@lena1111 Hi! Yes, on large format you can use film, coated glass plates or also directly photographic paper... And with a liquid emulsion like the Rollei RBM2 or smth similar, you can paint coat any object you want, as long as it fits into the 4x5 film holder... There;s some other examples in my album; Glass, Wood, Paper & Stone

@lena1111 www.lomography.co.th/magazine/335968-road-to-abstraction that's the camera I used for the rock shot. And you can see what I mean, you can use any object and make masks and all sorts of stuff

Chapeau!!!!
