Gedu Mia's Masjid…completely and wonderously decked with mosaic chips…and very reminiscent of the work of the legendary Spanish Catalan architect….Antonio Gaudi..

This delight, yellowing away with age, sits amidst the mad rush of Gul Bazaar of Agartala Town, Tripura..in the remote North-East of India..and is a testament to the legend of Gedu Mia…a mahout who then became a driver and then became a mechanic and then designed and built this Mosque in gratitude..for his good fortunes...

Architecture without Architects…timeless..!!!!..
