Put it to the test in any situation — from lightning-fast street sessions to low-light environments — and be amazed by the results. Its bright f/2.8 maximum aperture allows all of that natural, ambient light to come streaming right in. Compatible across a large platform of analogue and digital cameras, the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens offers freedom over the LC-A optics like never before!

From vision and inspiration to action and construction, we have designed the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 with the utmost care. @shhquiet Looks good, price is even OK! However, you seem to have forgotten the millions of FED's, Zorkis, screw mount Leicas, Towers, Niccas, Yoshiharas, Canon rengefinders, Droogs, Leningrads, Pioneers, Ducatis, Pontiacs, and all other 39 mm screw mount clones from, possibly, every country in the world. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE IN 39 MM SCREW WITH M BAYONET ADAPTER!!! BTW... that Petzval should have been M42 with adapters...

If I understood correctly, it isn't compatible with SLR cameras?

@herbert-4 i think both would be great.. M39 and leica-M and Petzval in M42 would be a dream.. but now it's too late for me....

like the pictures her.. looks great.. could be cool on a bessa or leica!

This might just be the lens I attach to my M Monochrom and leave it!

I'm a newcomer with no Lomo experience at all. I find the lens description confusing, as I can't tell for sure what Lomo cameras will take its mount. The description mentions Leica (!) a lot, and the lens has LCA in its name, but I cannot be sure from the texts what cameras take this lens.

@ivanlietaert It's directly compatible with any M42 mount camera. It can be used with any digital mirrorless camera through an adaptor. And, as @snoop said earlier, an adaptor for Canon and Nikon SLR cameras will be provided soon.

    According to the link,
    Lens Mount: Leica M-mount.
The 'target market' of this product is the people who owns a Leica camera.
    Since these are hand made,
the production is limited in numbers to ensure that quality control standards are met.
Why this lens at this point in time? I had conversed with 2 veteran camera repairmen, and they said that: "Some lenses of Leica has a tendency to cloud after some years."
This Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 2.8/32 M Art Lens is going to sell, definitely. But the marketing should be right.*@:-)

So basically, this is a lens for non-Lomo cameras? It has the same characteristics as the fixed lens on the LC-A camera, but can be used (with an adapter) on almost any digital or analog film camera?

love the pics but it would be great to have a M39 version of this lens. So I could use it on my Zorki-4 or Voigtländer Bessa L
