Me and my friends had our Lomowalk last September 2011 in the City of Parañaque, Philippines. We first met and took fotos around St. Andrew's Cathedral then traveled by foot passing the City Jail, shacks, fish port and finally, coastal road.

We would always find old and awesome memorabilia stored away between the things we clean up. Some I’m pretty sure have been very surprising. Just these few minutes, while rummaging through my old box of letters, I found these old set of pictures and it’s negatives. They were taken back in college, third year when we were into the first 3 days of photography class. My mom let me borrow her friend’s old film camera for practice. That friend of hers we called father Sam. A missionary from St. Camillus. I already had my Canon 350D digital SLR back then but still experimented. It was a surprise it worked real fine. Here is one of the pictures I took with it. Although I cannot remember the model anymore, it was a Canon. I’m still in touch with father Sam up to this day.
This is another roll from my lomowalk with my dear friend artichekt through Düsseldorf. Unfortunately I found dark streaks all over the negatives. When I looked into my old Canon AE-1 I found a sticky glue-like substance on the inside that caused the damage of the film. I figured that this is foam material from the edges of the back cover that is melting away due to its age. I cleaned the camera with gasoline and hope that it doesn't happen again. - Home developed in Tetenal C41 Rapid Kit -
