Great ! I did the same for my birthday this year. Nice camera, not so good for portrait but I love its sound!

Oooooooh! That was once one of my "must have cameras". Went for Leica instead, more compact and silent. But really beautiful camera, that Fuji.

@srcardoso Using a friends Kiev 6 sparked an interest in these medium format cameras, and this was my solution. I look forward to see what I discover.

I have the GSW 690 II! I have a sweet looking strap for it, and it takes beautiful pictures. One issue for me is that since it is so heavy, I often don't like lugging it around the city. It was looking for a medium format camera that was "indestructible," since I am not known to be the most gentle with my cameras. Hope yours is getting lots of use!

Oh, yes, Texas Leica indeed! I have a GSW 6x8, but as it's really very big, not easy to travel with it, almost didn't use it (besides one trip to scotland a few years ago and some other occasions: www.lomography.com/homes/vicuna/cameras/3351558-fuji-gsw-68… ), so I decided to sell it...

@neufotomacher yeah, 6x9 or even 6x17 (aka "The Beast") as well! The 6x17 is impressing for panoramas, but is huuuge and heavy!
