Black & White Sun

Yesterday's short trip to the Schwyz area paid off quite nicely, I am very happy about this shot with Imago Positive Paper, exactly as I imagined to be. Lots of negative space, strong contrast, a strong black sun due to the solarization of the photo paper and a lens flare that I couldn't have arranged at a nicer spot.

Guay!!!

A fine homage to Ansel Adams. Congrats on your black sun

@CHROMAGNON I like it very much, just a small black dot makes the picture look fully abstract right away

    how did you do this,man?

@kelvin_wx This can happen when you shoot on positive paper, not on negative. Basically the positive paper is not made to handle such strong light and if you shoot directly into the sun, the emulsion can overload, gets a shock and renders the sun black. It's called solarisation
