Hi, my name is Monty. I am a Swiss filmmaker and photographer. I used to live in Beijing from 2003 to 2019, studying at the Beijing Film Academy and working in the film and advertising industry of Asia for many years. I also used to race motorcycles in the Chinese National racing league. After I moved back to Switzerland, I now find my adrenaline kick by training daily and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments around the world or getting high, walking up snowy peaks wherever I can find them to shred down couloirs on my snowboard. Currently also on the way to learn paragliding, I need to fly! Photography has been a big part of my life since I am a kid shooting my friends skateboarding, I began shooting on celluloid and have been doing so ever since. However my photographic output is really low, I only shoot an average of 50 photos a year but try to make each one count. Love people watching, board sports, standing on mountain tops or driving through a desert. I don't have any social media, so if you ever see me sitting in the sun somewhere, come and say hi! Peace.
