   Got a miranda sensorex II camera on a flea market. It's a very nice camera. Sadly, the lightmeter doesn't work although the mechanism works fine. Do you have an idea?

   @zorki Miranda Sensorex II has a CdS meter and the works is at least 40 years old. May not work. Sometimes a really old camera repair shop might have a NOS replacement part. Or it might just need the right battery. It was a PX675 1.35 Mg battery, so you'll need a Wein Cell MRB675 Zn/air battery. No more Mg allowed, too toxic. Wein Cells last 6-9 months. Or just get a Gossen Digisix light meter, about maybe Euro 100?

   Thank you for your fast answer. I tried a normal LR 44 1,5 v battery. I thought the lightmeter would just show me wrong exposure values, but it didn't respond at all... tear...

   @zorki I bought an Olympus pen eed - it also has a CdS meter and need a PX675 1.35V Mg battery and I bought an adapter on ebay.com to use a modern 1.55V 386/SR43W Silver Oxide battery on it - 20$ and it's work good!
