   I need to add: Mecki the hedgehog.....also my favorite comic when I was a kid.

   @neufotomacher Yes - that is Mecki (the hedgehog right I mean.....)

   @rolfmg @neufotomacher I had to do a google search to refresh my memory, but yes that is Mecki. I found this great animation on youtube from the 1952, the year I was born(today is my birthday).

   @desertdwelling Many Happy Returns! I grew up with Mecki - in the 50ties and early 60ties Mecki was a quite popular comic ...but Mickey Mouse and Fix&Foxi superseded Mecki finally.
