When traveling to a foreign land, it's easy to be swayed by what you see online. From the must-see places down to dishes that you should absolutely try, everybody has an opinion on what's one should do. For this competition, we'd like you to take a moment a discover the place with brand new eyes.
Forget about all the raving reviews you heard prior to the trip. Instead, mingle with the locals and learn the best-kept secrets about their hometown straight from them. Move away from the touristy road and hit the dusty, overgrown path to the lesser known restaurants and travel destinations.
Each participant may submit up to 10 photographs. This competition serves as the qualifying round for the Breaking Boundaries Award.
