Before Chicago, my journey started with a 42 hour train ride aboard Amtrak"s Southwest Chief. The train ride passed through 8 states and I spent two nights there. I also spent Thanksgiving on the train- it was a bit sad to be far from family on that day but it was nice spending it with strangers, fellow travelers and hearing their stories. I did not take as many photos as I planned coz sometimes you get caught in the moment that you simply forget.
Here are some that I took.
Take a walk around Bumi Siliwangi (Villa ISOLA). It's sunny morning, testing my new superheadz ultra wide and slim with agfa ct precisa 100. The result? for me it's beautiful. Great!
I wanted to try a different approach to the Film-on-Film technique. This is what I did:
1) Taped two strips of scrap film to the mask of the Sprocket Rocket.
2) Inserted the mask, loaded the film, and shot the entire roll into a bright, white light.
3) Rewound the film, removed the mask, and then reloaded the film.
4) Taped a magnifying lens to the camera lens, and then shot the second layer as close-ups.
I was recently in Vancouver for work and was fortunate to have a chance to re-connect with the wonderful @troch and meet the talented @rcwater. Since it was a work trip, I didn't expect that I would have time to do any shooting, so I was very unprepared - I only took my LC-A+ and one roll of film with me!! Lesson learned - from now on I will always travel with at least 2 cameras and at least 10 rolls of film.

Myanmar was definetly the highlight of my southeast asia trip! Such a pure contry with lovely people and amazing way of living and humanity (if you count out the political situation)
Such a fantastic idea to build a beautifully landscaped garden around heritage monuments, as a way to protect and yet keep open to the public. Not to mention, such a huge open space in the heart of the capital city. A Xpro film in the Diana, a few light leaks, sunset time, magnificent architecture and a walk with dad - PERFECT !!!
