I'll get around to it! The story of my life. I am just getting started in the Lomo World, which began when I saw the BBC article questioning if Lomo saved film. This led to some investigation and quite an appreciation for the website happenings, as well as the Belair Jetsetter. I am patiently awaiting the arrival of this Belair. In the meantime, I will add a few photos I think resemble "Lomo" a bit. I do have numerous vintage cameras, of many different film sizes, with a great deal of expired film I want to start using. Some of these have had film in them for some length of time. I think at least one has film belonging to whoever sold it off to the antique store. I think Lomo has been inspiring to me; opening possibilities that some of the ways in which I have defined the kind of photo I wanted to do, has been narrow and overly obsessive toward some ill-conceived notion of the perfect shot. What I see at Lomo reminds me of why I had interest in photo as a kid. There is room for both of these worlds and I look forward to exploring here. Peace!
